Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on County Road 43 in North Dundas, claiming the life of an 78-year-old woman.
The incident took place on the morning of May 24, 2026, and emergency services responded promptly to the scene. The victim was pronounced deceased at the location.
Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased pending notification of next of kin. The cause of the collision is under investigation, and OPP are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with dashcam footage to come forward.
County Road 43 was temporarily closed in both directions to allow for investigation and cleanup. Motorists were advised to seek alternative routes.
