Suspect Sought After Young Girl Sexually Assaulted in Agincourt
Toronto Police are asking for the public's help in locating a male suspect following an alleged sexual assault of a young girl in the Agincourt area earlier this month. The incident occurred on May 12, 2026, at approximately 4 p.m. in the vicinity of Finch Avenue East and McCowan Road.
According to police, the suspect approached an eight-year-old female victim inside a retail store, sexually assaulted her, and then followed her within the premises. The suspect grabbed the victim, prompting her to alert family members. A family member confronted the suspect, who then fled the scene on foot.
Investigators have released images of the suspect, described as a male between 20 and 30 years old, wearing eyeglasses. He was last seen wearing a green Nike baseball cap worn backwards with a white swoosh logo, a long-sleeved green shirt, and black track pants with white lettering down the left leg.

Woman Found Dead in Cabbagetown Garage
In a separate incident, a woman was discovered deceased inside a private garage in the Cabbagetown neighborhood on Saturday morning. Toronto Police reported on social media that officers were flagged down around 9:20 a.m. for a medical complaint in the Dundas and Seaton Streets area.
Upon arrival, police located an adult female in a private garage who was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
Stolen Jewelry Appraised at Over $1 Million
Toronto Police have also reported that jewelry stolen during an armed robbery earlier this month has been appraised at more than $1 million. The robbery occurred on May 10, 2026, at approximately 4:50 a.m. in the Spadina Avenue and Bremner Boulevard area.
Four masked males approached the victims, who were parked in a vehicle, and held them at gunpoint. The suspects stole over $1 million worth of jewelry and fled the scene in a vehicle. One victim sustained minor injuries.

Man Sought for Criminal Harassment in Riverdale
In yet another case, Toronto Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man wanted in connection with a criminal harassment complaint in the Riverdale area. Police responded to a call on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Queen Street East and Broadview Avenue area.
It is alleged that on Monday, a 29-year-old woman was walking in the area when a man followed her on the sidewalk. The man continued to follow her as she attempted to leave the area, but she managed to flee and contact police.
The suspect is described as approximately 50 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9 with a medium build, dark complexion, and a salt-and-pepper beard. He is known to frequent the Danforth and Pape Avenues area. Police advise the public not to approach the suspect and to call 911 immediately if located.
