A 78-year-old woman from Winchester was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday morning near North Dundas, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
The crash occurred on May 23 at approximately 11 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 43 and County Road 1. The OPP released a statement on Sunday detailing the incident, which involved a rental moving van and an SUV.
The identity of the deceased woman has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry OPP detachment is actively investigating the collision. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to contact the SD&G OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
