Police in Surrey are appealing to the public for information regarding a suspect who sexually assaulted a teenage girl on Saturday afternoon in the Clayton Heights neighborhood.
Incident Details
On June 6, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Surrey police responded to reports of a stranger sexual assault near the intersection of 188th Street and 70th Avenue. The victim, a teenage girl, was approached from behind and assaulted. She managed to escape and run to safety.
Suspect Description
The suspect is described as a Black man, around 20 years old, standing between six-foot-one and six-foot-two with a medium build. He has short, curly black hair and a short black beard covering the sides, chin, and mouth. At the time of the assault, he was wearing a black T-shirt and dark pants.
He was last seen walking north on 188th Street.
