Kia Canada has announced pricing for the completely redesigned 2027 Seltos, which enters its second generation. Since its debut in 2020, the Seltos has become one of Kia's top-selling models, with 110,747 units delivered to date. The new model builds on the first generation with modern features, increased cabin and cargo space, and improved comfort.
Pricing and Trims
The 2027 Seltos starts at $28,495 MSRP for the LX FWD 2.0L trim. The all-in price, including fees, is $31,858. Other trims include LX AWD 2.0L ($30,495), EX AWD 2.0L ($33,495), EX Premium AWD 2.0L ($36,795), X-Line AWD 1.6L Turbo-GDI ($39,295), and X-Line Limited AWD 1.6L Turbo-GDI ($41,295).
Powertrain Options
The Seltos offers three powertrains. The base 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine pairs with Kia's Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). For more power, the turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder produces 190 horsepower and uses an 8-speed automatic transmission with manual control. A new hybrid powertrain combines a 1.6-litre engine with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission, available with front-wheel drive or e-AWD, a Kia first on a hybrid SUV. Fuel economy and pricing for the hybrid will be announced closer to its launch.
Features and Technology
The redesigned Seltos adopts advanced technology from Kia's EV lineup, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) from the EV9, EV4, and EV5. It offers more cabin, cargo, and screen space than the previous generation, along with features typically found in higher vehicle classes.
Availability
