The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in Edmonton has announced an ambitious $25 million fundraising campaign aimed at advancing rehabilitation care and research. The initiative seeks to expand services, upgrade equipment, and support innovative programs for patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery.
Campaign Goals
The funds will be directed toward enhancing the hospital's specialized rehabilitation programs, including cutting-edge therapies for brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and amputee care. A significant portion will also support research into new treatment methods and technologies.
Community Support
Hospital officials emphasize the importance of community contributions, noting that philanthropic support is crucial for sustaining and improving rehabilitation services. The campaign has already secured several major donations, but additional funding is needed to reach the target.
“This investment will transform lives by enabling faster, more effective recoveries,” said a hospital spokesperson. “Every donation brings us closer to providing world-class rehabilitation care.”
The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital is one of Canada’s largest and most comprehensive rehabilitation facilities, serving patients from across Alberta and beyond.
