In the evening, the Luminary Ceremony lights up the route in tribute to those affected by cancer and in memory of loved ones who have passed away, creating a moving moment of reflection and solidarity.

Impact of Relay For Life

Since its inception 27 years ago, Relay For Life has raised more than $619 million across Canada to fund promising research and provide support to people living with cancer. By raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society through Relay For Life, participants help save and improve thousands of lives for generations to come.
