The traffic stop occurred on King Street on June 8, 2026, when officers from the OPP’s Caledon detachment pulled over the truck for a routine inspection.
Repeat Offenses Found
According to police, the same major defects that had been identified in previous inspections were found again during this stop. The charges include operating a vehicle with defective brakes, improper load security, and several other safety violations. The driver faces multiple charges under the Highway Traffic Act, while the company is charged under the Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) system.
