Osisko Development Corp. (NYSE: ODV, TSXV: ODV) has announced the completion of a 13,000-meter infill drilling program at its Cariboo Gold Project in central British Columbia, Canada. The company also provided an update on ongoing underground drilling at the Lowhee Zone.
Program Highlights
The program included 13,684 meters of grid infill drilling on 10-meter spacing across 142 drill holes, with 2,659 meters of new results reported. Additionally, 2,995 meters of infill and near-mine exploration drilling were completed at the Lowhee Zone.
Key intercepts from the infill drilling include 44.68 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 1.5 meters from 27.9 meters downhole, including 133.62 g/t gold over 0.5 meters from 28.4 meters downhole. Another highlight is 25.78 g/t gold over 2.5 meters from 41.3 meters downhole, including 103.47 g/t gold over 0.5 meters from 42.8 meters downhole and 12.51 g/t gold over 1.0 meter from 41.8 meters downhole.
Underground drilling at the Lowhee Zone returned intercepts such as 31.64 g/t gold over 2.0 meters from 50.0 meters downhole, including 125.24 g/t gold over 0.5 meters from 50.5 meters downhole, and 11.21 g/t gold over 4.9 meters from 63.3 meters downhole, including 58.19 g/t gold over 0.7 meters from 65.0 meters downhole.
Management Commentary
Chris Lodder, President of Osisko Development, stated: “The completion of the tighter infill drill spacing gives us a better understanding of vein corridor spatial geometries and local variability specific to this part of the Lowhee deposit. This provides confidence to refine infill drill requirements, production designs, and sequencing. The additional infill and near-mine exploration intercepts reinforce the importance of continued drilling in underexplored zones.”
